Why do I call it a failure?
I am extremely proud of having had the courage to jump into the unknown. I’ve met amazing people and made life-long memories which I’ll never regret.

But I didn’t think I’d end up this lost in life.

Calling it failure might be harsh. But maybe it’s the reality check I need.

Ideally you want to go to the toilet every day and see a poo around 4 on the Bristol chart (Google it and don’t ask too many questions XD) 🤣

Too many of us go traveling far away from home and either get
💩Cronic runny tummy
Or
💩Cronic constipation

And I’m here to tell you, that either is bad!

Why this happens in the first place:
🍄New foods + new bacteria = your gut doesn’t know what’s happening
🚰Dehydration: especially on long flights, in hot climates, or when you’re too busy exploring to drink water
💢Stress & anxiety: your nervous system affects your gut more than you think (hello, travel anxiety!)
🪑Sitting for hours: long buses, trains, flights... your bowels need movement to move
🧻 Ignoring the urge: weird hostel bathrooms, no privacy, “I’ll just wait”... your body stops trying

AND here’s how to have normal poos when traveling
🚶‍♀️Daily movement
🌾Fiber! (Lots of veggies my friend - BUT only cooked as fresh veggies behind washed in dirty water will give you Bali Belly REAL fast…)
🚰Lots of water (if you are in a very hot climate get electrolytes)
🚽If you’re a nervous poo’er - get a private room (I know it’s a bigger expense, but your gut health is worth it!)
